It is 2008, and it is time for Furcamp to start again, but this time it starts with a twist. We are gonna start out this new year with a winter camp instead of waiting for the warm weather. For those of you with thin skin…don’t worry, we are planning on renting cabins for this winter camp so we can not only hang out but, who knows, maybe we can watch movies and play games.  In any case, I should probably explain furcamp for those of you who do not know what it is, and for those of you who don’t know who runs it.

The first furcamp was held last year, in the end of July. The first group had less than a week notice and there were near 10 furs interested in going though only 6 arrived. We still had fun though, camping in the middle of a state forest with nothing more than tents, sleeping bags, and cooking/cleaning utensils and toiletries. We cooked over a fire, and cleaned the dishes and ourselves in the river that was right near the campsite. We also hiked up that river. The second furcamp was quite near the same though it had nearly 20 furs it and things happened at the second that were not even thought of at the first.

All in all, let me wrap it all up in a tiny bundle for you. Furcamp is a private event for furs, though non furs are welcome as well as long as they are furry friendly. Also, Furcamp is a place where anyone and everyone can be accepted for who they are and what they like to “do”. No one is judged for what they are into or how they act, as long as they follow the rules/guidelines. This is furcamp and this is always what it will be.
